Living Voice Football Academy Kicks Off NLO 2025 with Dramatic Victory Over Detra FC




Living Voice Football Academy launched their 2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) campaign in spectacular fashion, clinching a thrilling 1-0 victory against Detra FC at the Ijebu Ode Center on Thursday. A stunning 86th-minute goal from Omorege Friday secured all three points for the academy in a match that kept fans on the edge of their seats.


The tightly contested encounter saw both teams battle fiercely, with Detra FC’s resolute defense holding firm for much of the game. However, Living Voice’s persistence paid off in the dying moments when Friday unleashed a sublime effort that found the back of the net, sparking wild celebrations among players and supporters at the Ijebu Ode Township Stadium. The dramatic strike proved to be the decisive moment, handing Living Voice a dream start to their NLO season.


Club President, Pastor Idahosa-Ohio  Joshua, was effusive in his praise for the team’s performance, expressing optimism about their prospects in the 2025 NLO season. “We are absolutely delighted with this win,” he said. “It’s a testament to the hard work and talent within this group.
