TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 Final Draw Held in Rabat


The highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Final Draw took place on Monday, January 27, at the iconic Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat, Morocco. The ceremony was hosted by renowned actors Djimon Hounsou and Nabila Kilani, adding a touch of glamour to the event.


The ceremony was attended by a plethora of high-profile dignitaries, including CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, a representative of the FIFA president, and over 20 national team coaches. The coaches present included Eric Chelles of Nigeria, Emerse Faé of Côte d'Ivoire, Pape Bouna Thiaw of Senegal, and Vladimir Petković of Algeria, among others.



African football legends Mustapha Hadji, Serge Aurier, Aliou Cisse, and Joseph Yobo were also present as assistants during the draw, adding their expertise and charisma to the event.


The Final Draw revealed the groups for the 24 qualified teams, setting the stage for the tournament, which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The groups are as follows:

Group C: Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania, Guinea


Group D: Senegal, Dr Congo, Benin, Botswana


Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan


Group F: Cote D'Ivoire, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique
