The semi-finals of the MOB Unity Cup Inter-Local Government competition have come to a close, with V.O.A Queens, Iyin Ekiti emerging victorious against United Queens, Iyin Ekiti's 2-1 win has secured their spot in the championship match.
The thrilling encounter, which took place at the Eyemote Field, saw V.O.A Queens, Iyin Ekiti dominate the game, with their attacking players finding the back of the net twice. United Queens, Ile Ona managed to score a consolation goal, but it was too little, too late, as V.O.A Queens, Iyin Ekiti held on to their lead to win the match.
Meanwhile, Ajakaiye Queens, also representing Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government, suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Golden Queens, relegating them to the third-place match.
