Ekiti State Football Association Cracks Down on Unruly Behavior in Ongoing League

The Ekiti State Football Association has taken swift action against incidents of harassment and assault on match officials in the ongoing Ekiti State League.

In a statement released on Friday, the association expressed deep concern over the unacceptable behavior displayed during two recent matches.

During the match between Copdem FC, Ado Ekiti, and Nigeria Immigration Service FC, Ado Ekiti, on May 23rd, players, officials, and supporters of Nigeria Immigration Service FC were involved in harassing match officials. The Ekiti State Football League Committee has suspended Nigeria Immigration Service FC's league matches until further notice, pending a thorough investigation by the Disciplinary Committee.
